This policy exists to protect two things: your investment of time and money, and the coaching time that only one person can use at a time. It is written to be read, not to be hidden behind.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to every booked one-to-one call with Craige Hardel Coaching, including:
- Private coaching sessions, including the entry session and any ongoing coaching arrangement.
- Accountability check-ins scheduled as a one-to-one call.
- Introductory or discovery calls booked through this website.
- Live group calls and Q&A sessions inside the High Achiever Society — these follow a lighter rule set, covered in section 05.
Subscription billing is separate
Membership tiers such as Podcast Premium, Accountability Pro, and the Inner Circle are subscriptions rather than appointments. Those are covered in section 05, and they are never affected by this cancellation window.
Notice periods
The window is measured from the scheduled start time of the call, not from when you booked it. All times are the time zone shown in your booking confirmation.
| Booking type | Cancel or move before | Inside that window |
|---|---|---|
| Private coaching session | 24 hours before the start time | Session is used |
| Accountability check-in | 24 hours before the start time | Session is used |
| Introductory / discovery call | 24 hours before the start time | Slot is released |
| Society live call or Q&A | No notice needed | Nothing to cancel |
| Call Craige must move | You are always notified | Never counts against you |
The 24-hour rule in plain terms
If your call starts at 3:00pm on Thursday, cancel or reschedule it before 3:00pm on Wednesday and nothing is lost — no fee, no awkward conversation. After that point the session is treated as used, because the time was held for you and cannot be offered to anyone else.
How to cancel or reschedule
Keep it simple. You never need to justify a change, and you never need to explain yourself to anyone.
- Use the link in your booking confirmation. Every confirmation email contains a reschedule and cancel link. This is the fastest route and updates the calendar immediately.
- Or simply reply to the confirmation email. Write "reschedule" or "cancel" and we will handle it from there.
- You can move a session up to two times before the call takes place, provided each change gives at least 24 hours' notice.
- Wait for the confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation of the change, it has not registered — follow up before the original time passes.
- New times are subject to availability. We will offer the nearest open slots, and you are under no obligation to accept them.
Late cancellations and no-shows
Two different things, handled slightly differently. Neither is treated as a character flaw.
- Late cancellation. Cancelling or rescheduling inside the 24-hour window means the session is forfeited and is not refunded. Your first late cancellation in any quarter is waived and can be rebooked once, within 30 days.
- No-show. Please join within 10 minutes of the start time. After 10 minutes the call is closed and treated as a no-show — forfeited, not refunded, and not covered by the goodwill waiver.
- If Craige cancels or moves a call, you choose: the next available slot, a credit, or a full refund. It never counts against you.
- Technical failure on our side — platform outage, audio failure, a link that will not open — is not your responsibility. The session is rescheduled at no cost.
- Technical failure on your side — no internet, wrong device, a flat battery — is treated the same as arriving late. Message if you can and we will do what we reasonably can.
Membership calls and subscriptions
Group sessions and monthly memberships work differently from one-to-one appointments, because nothing is being reserved exclusively for you.
- Live Society calls and Q&A sessions require no cancellation. Simply do not attend, and watch the replay when it suits you.
- Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account or by replying to any membership email. There is no lock-in period and no cancellation fee.
- Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling mid-month does not cut off access early, and does not generate a partial-month refund.
- Cancelling a subscription does not cancel booked calls. Any one-to-one session already in the calendar still runs, and still follows the 24-hour rule.
- Courses and workshops are covered by the terms shown at the point of purchase, since some are live and some are self-paced.
Refunds and credits
- Cancel more than 24 hours ahead and you may choose either a full refund or a credit toward a future session.
- Cancel inside 24 hours and the session is forfeited. No refund is issued, with one exception: your first late cancellation each quarter is waived and can be rebooked once.
- No-show without any contact — the session is forfeited and is not refundable or waivable.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
- Waived sessions must be rebooked within 30 days. After that the credit expires, because the point of the waiver is to keep you moving, not to bank sessions indefinitely.
Exceptional circumstances
Sometimes the 24-hour rule is irrelevant. Illness, a family emergency, a bereavement, a genuine crisis — these are not scheduling problems, and we are not going to hide behind a clause.
- Tell us as soon as you reasonably can. Even a one-line message is enough. You do not owe anyone details.
- We will waive the window. Where the circumstances are serious, the session is moved or refunded without question or penalty.
- We look at patterns, not single events. One bad week means nothing. Repeated emergencies start to look like a scheduling problem, and we will say so honestly rather than quietly resenting it.
Illness, emergency, bereavement
Handled case by case and, in practice, generously. Contact us when you can and the session is protected.
"Something came up" with no contact
If we hear nothing and the call passes, it counts as a no-show. A two-line message changes the outcome entirely.
Repeated cancellations
We track cancellations — not to penalise you, but because a pattern is information. That is the same philosophy behind everything else here.
- Three late cancellations or no-shows in any rolling 90-day period may mean new bookings are paused for a short while.
- That pause comes with a conversation, not a punishment. Usually it means the timing is wrong, the goal is wrong, or the support structure needs to change.
- You can always come back. Stepping away because the timing is wrong is a legitimate decision, and it is better than repeatedly no-showing to something you cannot sustain.
Falling behind is information, not failure
The response is a short, unemotional set of questions: what happened, what can we learn, what needs to change, and what are you doing next. Then you run the loop again.
Questions about this policy
If anything here is unclear, or if you believe a cancellation was recorded incorrectly, get in touch and it will be looked at properly.
- Fastest route: reply to any booking confirmation email. That keeps your booking details attached to the message.
- General questions: use the contact form on the main site.
- Response time: we aim to reply within one business day, and usually sooner.
- This policy may be updated as the coaching and Society offers evolve. The version in force is the one published on this page on the date of your booking.
