Refund & Cancellation Policy

You should never have to guess whether you can get your money back. This page sets out the exact refund window for every product, how to ask, how long it takes, and the handful of things that cannot be refunded — in plain language, before you buy rather than after.

Last updated: September 2026 Applies to all paid products
14 days Standard refund window on courses, digital products, and a first membership month
24 hrs Notice needed to refund or move a booked one-to-one coaching call
1 business day Typical time for us to confirm a refund request has been received
0 Admin fees, restocking charges, or retention calls — ever

If something you paid for is not what you expected, tell us within 14 days and we will make it right — no interrogation, no hoops, no retention call. We would rather refund you and keep your trust than keep money you regret spending.

A refund policy is only worth anything if it is decided before the money changes hands. So this one is deliberately specific: named products, named windows, named timelines. Where a rule has an exception, the exception is written down next to the rule rather than buried somewhere else.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to everything paid for through Craige Hardel Coaching and the High Achiever Society, including:

  1. Private coaching, including the entry session and any ongoing coaching arrangement.
  2. Accountability coaching and multi-session coaching packages.
  3. High Achiever Society memberships — Podcast Premium, Accountability Pro, and the Inner Circle.
  4. Courses, workshops, and live training, whether self-paced or scheduled.
  5. Digital products such as planners, templates, assessments, and downloadable resources.

Two free things, so nothing to refund

The High Achiever's Podcast and the free community tier are free to access and free to leave. There is no billing relationship, so no refund process is needed — simply stop listening or leave the community whenever you like.

Refund windows by product

Find the thing you bought in the left-hand column. The window is measured from the date of purchase for digital items, and from the scheduled start time for live calls and sessions.

Refund eligibility by product. Where the consumer law in your country gives you a longer period, that longer period applies.
Product Refund window How it works Outcome
Private coaching — single session Up to 24 hours before the call Full refund or a credit, whichever you prefer. Your call. Full refund
Coaching packages (multi-session) Within 14 days of purchase Unused sessions are refunded pro-rata. Sessions already delivered are deducted, nothing else. Pro-rata
Introductory / discovery call Free of charge No payment is taken, so there is nothing to refund. Free
Podcast Premium — $9/month Cancel anytime; 14 days on a first purchase Access runs to the end of the paid period. The first month is refundable on request. First month
Accountability Pro — approx. $27/month Cancel anytime; 14 days on a first purchase Same terms as Podcast Premium. No lock-in, no cancellation fee. First month
Inner Circle Confirmed at launch Structure and pricing are still being finalised, so the refund terms will be published before it opens. Announced at launch
Self-paced courses Within 14 days of purchase Full refund provided less than 25% of the course has been completed. Full refund
Live workshops Up to 48 hours before the session Full refund before that point. Afterwards a credit toward the next workshop is offered. Full / credit
Digital products & templates Within 14 days of purchase Full refund, no explanation required. Keep the files; we are not going to police that. Full refund
High Achiever's Podcast Free to listen No purchase is made, so no refund applies. Free

How to request a refund

Five steps, and you only have to do the first one. You never need to justify a refund request or explain what went wrong — though if you do tell us, it genuinely shapes what gets built next.

  1. Send the request

Reply to your purchase receipt or booking confirmation and write "refund". That keeps your order details attached to the message, which is the fastest route by far. The contact form on the main site works too.

Any time — day one to day fourteen
  2. We confirm we have it

You get a short reply confirming the request has been received and logged, along with the amount involved. No auto-responder, no ticket number to chase.

    Within 1 business day
  3. A decision, with a reason

Either the refund is approved, or you get a straight explanation of why it falls outside this policy and what the alternative is — a credit, a swap, or a partial refund. No vague refusal.

    Within 2 business days
  4. The refund is issued

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method. We do not hold funds while "looking into it", and there is no administrative charge deducted.

    Immediately on approval
  5. The money lands

Card refunds typically clear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. If it has not arrived after 10 business days, message us and we will chase it with the processor on your behalf.

    5–10 business days

Where to send it

Reply to your receipt or booking confirmation email — it already contains your order reference, which is the quickest route to a same-day decision. If you cannot find it, use the contact form on the main site and include the email address you paid with.

Refundable and not refundable

Both sides of the ledger, side by side. Nothing in the right-hand column is there to trap you — each entry has a reason, and most have a softer alternative attached.

Refundable

  • Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice
  • Any course or digital product, within 14 days of purchase
  • Unused sessions inside a coaching package, within 14 days
  • The first month of any paid membership, within 14 days
  • Anything we cancel, postpone, or fail to deliver as described
  • Duplicate or accidental charges — always, without exception

Not refundable

  • Calls cancelled inside 24 hours or missed entirely — first one each quarter is waived
  • Membership periods already used — access runs to the end of the paid term
  • Courses more than 25% completed — though we will still talk it through with you
  • Live workshops after the session has already run — a credit is offered instead
  • One-to-one coaching time that has already been delivered
  • Requests made after the stated window has closed — unless the law says otherwise

Two things we never do

We never deduct an administrative or restocking fee from a refund, and we never put you through a retention call to talk you out of cancelling. If you want to stop, you stop — and the door stays open for later.

Coaching sessions and packages

Coaching is bought in time, and time cannot be sold twice. That is the whole reason the 24-hour window exists — not to punish you, but to keep the calendar honest.

  1. Single sessions. Cancel or move at least 24 hours before the start time and you choose a full refund or a credit. Inside 24 hours the session is treated as used.
  2. Your first late cancellation each quarter is waived and can be rebooked once, within 30 days. No explanation needed.
  3. Coaching packages. Request a refund within 14 days of purchase and the unused portion is refunded pro-rata. Sessions already delivered are deducted; nothing else is.
  4. If Craige cancels or moves a call, you choose the next available slot, a credit, or a full refund. It never counts against you.
  5. Technical failure on our side — a platform outage, a link that will not open — is not your problem. The session is rescheduled at no cost or refunded.
  6. Coaching is not a guarantee of outcomes. Refunds are not issued because a goal was not reached on schedule. Results depend on the work done between sessions, and that part is yours.

For the full booking rules

Notice periods, no-shows, rescheduling limits, and how to move a call are all set out on the Call Cancellation Policy. This page covers the money; that one covers the calendar.

Memberships and subscriptions

Memberships are recurring, so the refund logic is different: the question is not whether you can leave, but what happens to the period you have already paid for.

  1. Cancel at any time. From your account, or by replying to any membership email with the word "cancel". There is no lock-in and no cancellation fee.
  2. Access continues to the end of the paid period. Cancelling mid-month does not cut off access early, and does not generate a partial-month refund.
  3. First purchase protection. If you have just joined and it is not right for you, request a refund within 14 days of your first payment and it is returned in full.
  4. Cancelling a subscription does not cancel booked calls. Any one-to-one session already in the calendar still runs under the 24-hour rule.
  5. Missed payments are not refundable, but they are also not punitive. Access is paused, and restoring it takes one message rather than a new signup.
  6. Inner Circle terms will be published before that tier opens, so nobody joins without knowing the refund position in advance.

Courses, workshops and downloads

  1. Self-paced courses: full refund within 14 days, provided less than 25% of the course has been completed. The threshold exists so the refund window stays fair rather than becoming a free trial of the whole library.
  2. Live workshops: full refund up to 48 hours before the session. Inside 48 hours, or after the session has run, a credit toward the next workshop is offered instead.
  3. Digital products and templates: full refund within 14 days, no explanation required. Keep the files — we are not going to police a download link.
  4. Bundles and course libraries are refunded as a whole, not item by item, since the pricing is built on the bundle.
  5. If a course or workshop is materially different from how it was described, the window does not apply. Tell us and it is refunded, full stop.

Timing, methods and currencies

  1. Refunds return to the original payment method. We cannot send a refund to a different card or account, because that is how fraud protection works.
  2. Card and digital wallet refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days. The delay is your bank's, not ours — the refund itself is issued the moment it is approved.
  3. We refund in the currency you paid in, so you are not exposed to exchange-rate movement between purchase and refund.
  4. If the money has not arrived after 10 business days, message us with the date of approval and we will chase the payment processor directly on your behalf.
  5. Credits never expire silently. If a credit is issued and you have not used it, we will remind you before anything lapses — and credits from a waiver are valid for 30 days.

Exceptional circumstances

Sometimes a window is irrelevant. Illness, a family emergency, a bereavement, a sudden change in financial circumstances — these are not scheduling problems and we are not going to hide behind a clause to keep money we should not keep.

  1. Tell us as soon as you reasonably can. Even a one-line message is enough. You do not owe anyone details.
  2. Where circumstances are serious, the window is waived. The purchase is refunded, credited, or moved without question and without penalty.
  3. We look at patterns, not single events. One bad month means nothing. A repeated cycle of refund requests on the same product starts to say something about the product or the fit, and we would rather fix that openly than quietly resent it.
Waived

Illness, emergency, bereavement, hardship

Handled case by case and, in practice, generously. Contact us when you can and the purchase is protected.

Not waived

Buying the whole library, then refunding it

If the pattern is consuming everything and then requesting a refund, we will say so directly and offer a credit or a payment plan instead.

Your statutory rights

This policy sits on top of the law, not instead of it. Nothing here is intended to reduce a right you already have.

  1. Where the law gives you a longer or stronger right than this policy, that right prevails. Where the two conflict, the law wins every time.
  2. Consumers in the UK and EU generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from online purchases. On request we will always honour that period for digital products, rather than relying on the immediate-access waiver.
  3. Faulty or misdescribed products are always refunded in full, regardless of any window on this page.
  4. Nothing in this policy affects your right to raise a dispute with your card issuer or payment provider.
  5. Business clients and custom engagements may be governed by separate written terms agreed at the point of sale. Where those exist, they take priority over this page.
Quick Answers

The refund questions people actually ask.

Short, specific answers — including the ones where the honest answer is "yes, and here is exactly how".

I changed my mind about a course. Can I get my money back?

Yes, within 14 days of purchase, as long as you have completed less than 25% of it. Reply to your receipt with "refund" and it is processed — you do not need a reason, and you do not need to feel awkward about it.

Can I get a refund if I stop a coaching package halfway?

Yes, if you request it within 14 days of purchase. The unused sessions are refunded pro-rata, with only the sessions already delivered deducted. If the 14 days have passed, get in touch anyway — stopping halfway is usually worth a conversation about whether the format or the goal needs to change.

How do I cancel my membership?

From your account, or by replying to any membership email with "cancel". No retention call, no offer you have to decline twice. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

I was charged twice, or charged after cancelling.

Then something went wrong on our side, and it gets fixed. Duplicate and accidental charges are always refunded in full, with no window and no conditions. Send the date and amount and it will be reversed and confirmed in writing.

What happens if my refund does not arrive?

Give it 10 business days from the approval date, since banks vary considerably. If it still has not landed, message us and we will chase the processor directly rather than leaving you to argue with your bank alone.

Will you ask me why I want a refund?

No. A refund request is not an interview. If you volunteer a reason it is genuinely useful — it usually shapes what gets built or changed next — but nothing is withheld if you do not.

Can I get a refund because I did not achieve my goal?

Not on that basis alone, and it would be dishonest to imply otherwise. Coaching is bought as time and support, not as a guaranteed outcome. What is always refundable is the support you did not receive — cancelled calls, undelivered sessions, or anything materially different from what was described.

Does this apply to live workshops I missed?

A missed live workshop is not refundable once it has run, but you are not left with nothing: a credit toward the next workshop is issued as standard. Cancel more than 48 hours ahead and it is a full refund instead.

Not Sure Whether You Qualify?

Ask first. Decide after.

If you are unsure which window applies to something you bought, or you believe a charge or refund was handled incorrectly, just ask. You will get a straight answer — and if you are weighing up a first purchase instead, the coaching options and the Society tiers are one click away.
